Dublin 15 Councilor Patrick Nulty has welcomed the news that Fingal County Council has given planning permission for the construction of a new footbridge at Clonsilla Train Station.

New footbridge for Clonsilla Station on the way

The permission was granted on July 13th and “ will consist of the construction of a new footbridge with a full accessibility compliant stairs, lifts, fencing and associated site works”.

Speaking in reaction to the announcement Cllr. Nulty noted “This proposed improvement at Clonsilla Station will be of great benefit to the many commuters who use Clonsilla station on a daily basis. It should increase safety and accessibility around the station”.
