Dublin West Labour Party Councillor Patrick Nulty haswelcomed the planning application lodged today by Co. Dublin VEC to build an extension toCastleknockCommunity Collegein Carpenterstown.
The application for a two storey extension includes provision for a new sports hall and changing facilities the provision of ten new classrooms and a specialist technology room.
Cllr. Patrick Nulty has welcomed the planning application for an extension to Castleknock Community College including a sports hall which was lodged with Fingal Council this week.
There is also a provision for twenty six new car parking spaces in the planning application.
Speaking on foot of application being lodged Cllr. Nulty stated that “It is really positive to see the VEC lodging this application with Fingal County Council”.
“School management,staff,parents and pupils alike have campaigned hard for this extension and in particular the much needed sports hall”.
“I welcome this application and hope it can be dealt with speedily and work commence on site as soon as possible”.
